After a month long break since the last match, we are finally back and ready to get down to business. Our next match takes place this Friday (9th March) and will see the return leg of the inaugural league fixture between ISS and OIS. This first fixture saw ISS come away with 3 wins to OIS' 1 and as this is the last fixture of the season for OIS, they will be surely looking to gather as many points as possible to give themselves the best chance of success.
Overall league possibilities
Looking at the Overall league table we can see that OIS currently sit behind PYD with 29 points. The best possible outcome for OIS would be to beat ISS 4 - 0 and come away with 12 points. This would boost them into 1st place with 41 points. PYD would then need to gain 8 points in final two fixtures to secure the overall win!
ISS have 3 fixtures left in the league which mean they have the opportunity to earn a maximum of 36 points. In this perfect (yet unlikely) scenario they would end the season on top having thoroughly beaten every school in their last three games... in reality, ISS need to concentrate on each game one at a time as it will likely get complicated towards the end and every point and goal could matter.
Both schools also have their opportunities for success in the individual divisions. To take a closer look at where they currently sit, click on the button below to visit the tables page.
This match will be hosted at the Samui United Facilities and is set to begin at 13:30 with the U14 Girls match. Come along to support the players and you will be rewarded with an entertaining afternoon of sport.
