This Friday (27th April) will see two teams put the finishing touches on what has been a truly inspiring first SSFL season.
ISS will host PYD in their sports hall, the event will start at approx. 14:30 and finish at approx. 17:30. We would like to encourage as many supporters as possible to come and watch the event and build an exciting atmosphere that the players deserve.
Three of the 5 divisions have already been decided prior to this Fixture. The U14 boys has been won by PYD. The U14 Girls has been won by PYD and the U11 boys has been won by ISS. Despite this, these still teams still have it all to play for as their results will contribute the whole school division.
The U11 girls division is the only one that is yet to be decided. As such we have made it the main event to give it all of the attention that it deserves. PYD are currently in the lead and a win or a draw will seal the division for them. For ISS to win a draw will not be enough, a victory for ISS will allow them to equal PYD on points and win on goal difference.
Whole School Division
PYD currently sit in first place with 42 points. ISS are close behind with 40.
ISS can win if:
1 - They win all four games
2 - They win at least three games
3 - They win at least two games and draw one
PYD will win if:
1 - They win two or more matches
2 - They win one match and draw the rest
3 - they draw all matches
As you can see, leading into this fixture, the advantage definitely leans towards PYD in both the whole school division and the U11 girls division. We are sure that the ISS teams are aware of this and they will be hoping that the home ground advantage will play a big part in taking that advantage away!
