We are fast approaching the 4th SSFL fixture of the year which will see SCL International School host Oonrak International School at Samui United.
Matches will be held in the following order:
Match 1: 14.00 – 14.30 - Oonrak U11 Girls v SCL U11 Girls
Match 2: 14.30 – 15.00 - Oonrak U11 Boys v SCL U11 Boys
Match 3: 15.00 – 15.30 - Oonrak U14 Girls v SCL U14 Girls
Match 4: 15.30 – 16.00 - Oonrak U14 Boys v SCL U14 Boys
OIS Possible Outcomes
U14 Boys - The OIS U14 boys currently have a 3 point lead on SCL at the top of this table. A win or a draw will see them extend this lead, however a loss could see them fall to second place. Currently the GD of SCL is 2 goals greater than OIS So a loss would make it difficult to maintain top position.
U14 Girls - Both OIS and SCL U14 Girls currently sit at the bottom of the table with 0 points. A win for OIS would Tie them in second place with PYD, however they will need to improve their GD by 3 goals to take the official second place spot. A draw will see the girls close the gap on second place and secure their 3 placed position, a loss will see them drop below SCL to 4th position.
U11 Boys - A win here will help OIS to tie ISS at the number 1 spot, however as ISS have a very impressive +12 GD it will take a very special performance for OIS to find themselves in the number 1 spot. A draw will cement their spot above SCL in third place but a loss will see them drop below SCL into fourth place.
U11 Girls - The OIS U11 girls are the only team in this competition yet to register points on the table. If they get the win over SCL it will move their points count level with the three other teams, GD will then be the deciding factor on what position they hold. A draw will also help them to close the gap on PYD and ISS, however the extra point will also raise SCL into a clear 1st position.
SCL Possible Outcomes
U14 Boys - After an impressive 5 - 0 win over ISS, SCL have a strong GD which means a win over OIS will likely push them into 1st place. A draw with OIS will help them to secure second place by widening the gap between 2nd and third by more than 3 points. A loss will not change SCL's position.
U14 Girls - The girls currently sit at 4th place, tied on points with OIS but losing due to GD. A win over OIS will propel them into third place, It is possible for SCL to move into second place here, however they will need to improve their goal difference by +10 (Not impossible!). A draw will see SCL remain in 4th place due to their GD but equal with OIS on points.
U11 Boys - OIS and SCL both have the same GD in this competition, however OIS have three more points. This setup means that a win for SCL will likely place them into second place due to a greater GD. A draw will push them into 3rd place above PYD.
U11 Girls - A win for SCL will give them 6 points and will push them comfortably into 1st place above ISS. A draw will also give SCL a total of 4 points which will propel them into 1st place. A loss will may see them drop to 3rd or 4th place based on their final GD.
Whole school league table
ISS currently sit at the top of the whole school league table, however that could easily change after this fixture.
OIS can move into 1st place by either:
SCL could take 1st place by either:
If SCL gain a single point they will jump into 3rd place, pushing PYD into 4th
With everything to play for, we are sure to be in for another exciting afternoon of football. All supporters are encouraged to support at Samui United on Dec 1st.
The results are in from the OIS v PYD fixture that took place last Friday and boy was it competitive. Even after 4 games of action packed, high tempo football there was little to separate the two sides:
These close results have added fuel to the fire in what has been an immensely competitive start to the inaugural SSFL season. No side looks destined to win at this stage and it looks like the titles will be fought over right up until the final fixtures.

We are now only 9 days away from the much anticipated fixture between Oonrak International School (OIS) and Panyadee International School (PYD). Both Sides are training hard and will be confident going into this fixture. OIS will be playing their second league fixture and PYD their first, both sides have a great opportunity to improve their league positions:
OIS - Possible Outcomes
U14 Boys: A Win or draw for OIS will take them back to first in the league
U14 Girls: A Win or draw will strengthen their 2nd place position and close the gap between them and ISS.
U11 Boys: A win, draw or improved goal difference will move OIS to second in this league.
U11 Girls: OIS U11 girls will need to win to improve their position. Winning and increasing their GD to greater than +1 will move them into 2nd place. A win and an improved GD to above +3 will put them in 1st place!
PYD - Possible Outcomes
This fixture is PYD's league debut, considering this, their possible league positions are:
U14 Boys: A win with a greater than +5 GD will put them in 1st place. A win with a greater than +2 GD will put them in second (Dependent on goals scored by OIS in fixture.)
U14 Girls: A win or draw will put PYD comfortably into second place. Goal difference will not effect this as SCL and OIS currently have 0 points.
U11 Boys: A Win or a draw will put PYD comfortably into second place. Goal difference will not effect this as SCL and OIS currently have 0 points.
U11 Girls: A draw will place PYD and OIS tied 3rd with 3rd going to the team with a better GD. a win will place PYD 1st if they have a GD greater than +3 OR 2nd if their GD is greater than +1.
Whole School League Table
Both teams can gain a maximum of 12 points in this encounter. If Oonrak come away with 4 wins and 12 points they will move into tied 1st place, however a GD greater than +18 will be needed to secure the number 1 spot in the league table. Just 3 points and an improved GD should move them above SCL. If PYD come away with Maximum points they will have made an excellent start and will be placed second after only one game!.
There is a lot to play for in this fixture... We cannot wait!
Details of Match times will be uploaded once they have been confirmed.
