The overall winners of the day were PYD who secured 9 points through 3 solid wins. SCL had their best day yet gaining 7 points through 2 wins and a draw. A draw and a win saw OIS gain 4 points and ISS had their worst showing yet, only coming away with 3 points thanks to a single win.
These results saw a lot of movement in the tables. The overall results saw ISS pushed down in all tables, they are now the only school that do not lead in any division. This will surely act as a massive motivator for their next 3 fixtures, in fact there is only one fixture left that does not involve ISS so their fate is up to them. SCLs great results saw them edge closer to the leaders in the U14 boys division, secure first place in the U11 girls division and creep closer to ISS in the overall league table. With 2 fixtures left for SCL they have the potential to come from behind and finish very strongly in the competition. OIS perhaps did not do as well as they would have hoped last Friday, only gaining 4 points overall saw them lose first place in the U14 boys league and drop to second in the whole school league table. Despite this a good goal haul in the U14 girls match, and a draw in the U11 Boys match gave them crucial points and GD to secure 2nd and 1st in their respective divisions. OIS only have one fixture remaining which is against ISS on the 9th of march, this final fixture will be extremely important for both teams but is also the final chance for OIS to stake their claim on winning the competition. Finally PYDs very successful afternoon leave them top of three league tables - U14 Boys, U14 Girls and the whole school league table. It is also worth noting that they only sit a single point behind SCL in the U11 girls table. With two fixtures and a potential 24 points still available, PYD find themselves in a very strong position as we approach the seasons closing stages.
